Dr. Ali Danesh, Ph.D., FAAA

Audiologist


Dr. Danesh specializes in tinnitus, balance disorders, and amplification. He has advanced knowledge and skills in the management and treatment of sound sensitivity disorders such as hyperacusis and misophonia. Dr. Danesh earned his Doctorate with an emphasis on auditory electrophysiology from the University of Memphis, Memphis, Tennessee. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Danesh is a professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Florida Atlantic University. He also has a secondary appointment as Professor of Integrated Medical Sciences at Schmidt College of Medicine.


He teaches students in audiology, medicine, and speech-language pathology. Dr. Danesh is a board-certified, clinical audiologist who has presented more than 100 scientific papers in local, state, national, and international meetings. In recent years, Dr. Danesh has published more than 50 peer-reviewed scientific papers on topics related to hearing, tinnitus, and balance disorders in a variety of prestigious journals and proceedings. In addition to his clinical work here at Labyrinth Audiology, Dr. Danesh has held positions at the following academic institutions:
